There is a new Housers city in Portugal: Alcobaça!

Honly Hotel is the second opportunity of Development Loan in Portuguese territory and will finance a hotel unit, with an estimate return of 8% in 12 months.

The new Development Loan opportunity consists of the acquisition of two residential buildings that will be totally demolished to make way for a hotel with 17 rooms in the center of Alcobaça. This is the first project of Housers in Portugal whose objective is the financing of a hotel unit.

The opportunity has a gross floor area of 1113 m2 and is located at Rua Miguel Bombarda 58, a 3 minutes walk from the Monastery of Alcobaça, a privileged location in the city center.

The hotel unit will be spread over 5 floors and will have the following characteristics:

Floor -1: technical areas to support the operation of the hotel;

Floor 0: main entrance of the hotel and common areas, accessible to all audiences;

Floors 1, 2 and 3: area of the rooms, making a total of 17 double rooms;

Roof of the building: on the top floor of the building will be built a terrace with views to the Monastery of Alcobaça.

The city of Alcobaça belongs to the district of Leiria and is located about an hour and a half from Lisbon and two hours from the city of Porto. The main attraction of the city is the Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça (12th century), classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, however, it also has other attractions such as the ruins of the Medieval Castle of the city, the convent of Santa Maria de Cós or the Misericórdia Church of Alcobaça classified with National Monument.

Alcobaça has 12 km of coastline. São Martinho do Porto and Paredes da Vitoria are the most famous beaches, but you will find options for all tastes and occasions, either to enjoy a family beach day or to practice sports, like surfing , sailing, deep sea fishing, bodyboarding or hang gliding. In addition, the city is less than 20 minutes drive from the village of Nazaré, one of the main tourist attractions in Portugal, known for its traditions linked to the sea and its giant waves. In November 2011, American surfer Garret McNamara hit the world record for the largest wave ever surfed (30 meters) in Nazaré. Due to its giant waves, the town of Nazaré currently hosts some of the largest international surfing championships, receiving thousands of sportsmen and tourists annually.

The project promoter is the company STARTUP FOREVER (HOLDING) LDA, born in 2016 and with the experience of three generations of architects, also real estate experts. The main areas of activity are Architecture and Urban Planning, Civil Construction and Rehabilitation, Interior Design, Structuring Real Estate Operations, Real Estate Mediation and Concepts Development.
