Palazzo Redoglia entails the granting of a loan to a project developer for the purchase of an ancient medieval palace of 840 sqm in the Piedmont region of Monferrato (provinvcia di Asti) which will be transformed into a luxury condo-hotel consisting of 23 premium suites, all completely furnished by Bertone Design, a spa, a luxury restaurant, and a 12,000 sqm garden with a swimming pool.

  • The castle adjacent to the palace is already owned by the project developer.
  • The work will begin as soon as the second capital funding campaign (already approved in July 2018) is completed.
  • The Langhe-Monferrato area has recently been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • The project developer has created a partnership with the luxury real estate agency Engel & Völkers for the sale of properties that will start in September of 2018.
  • The project has already been pre-approved by the Regional Director for Cultural Heritage and Landscape of Piedmont

Palazzo Redoglia is located in Castellero, a small village near Asti, in the Langhe-Monferrato region. The property is located at the Piazza Giuseppe Romita, 14011 Castellero, in the province of Asti (Piedmont).

Castellero’s strategic location is located less than 60 km from the Piedmont capital of Turin and can be accessed via the State Highway A21. The nearest airport is Turin Caselle International Airport, which is 80 km north-west of the project site and can be reached in around 60 minutes. Milan is also easily accessible and can be reached in approximately 70 minutes via the state highways A21/A7. From the Castellero Timeless Charm Resort you can reach many attractions such as golf courses, ski areas, thermal baths and more.

Faberstone Capital Srl is the project developer carrying out the development of the Castellero Resort Project through its subsidiary, PALMA Spa. 

Faberstone has two investments in its portfolio to date. The first, Sublimis Spa, is a company operating in the food sector with a special focus on the production of fresh pasta, and has an aggregate turnover of around € 8 million. The second, PALMA Spa, will be overseeing the complete development of the Castellero Timeless Charm Resort

In the past, Faberstone has developed other real estate initiatives in the Langhe Monferrato, namely 3 interventions for the recovery and restoration of historic residences, for a total countervalue of approximately € 5 million.

Additionally, Engel & Völkers will act as a commercial and marketing partner for the Castellero Resort project. Engel & Völkers is the leading company worldwide in the intermediation of high quality residential and commercial properties, yachts and airplanes in the premium segment. The company currently operates in over 30 countries and on four continents, offering customers a range of tailor-made professional services. They will operate through their international network on an exclusive basis for the sale of the Castellero apartments.

Finally, Bertone Design will serve as the interior design and communication partner for the Castellero Resort project. Founded in 1912, Bertone is one of the most historic and prestigious design brands made in Italy, and will design the building complex interiors, while also overseeing communication for the project.

In addition, it is important to note that Argos (similar to the agreement with GOC in Spain) will carry out the monitoring of this project, so that there will be a permanent control of all the capital that investors contribute.
