Catarroja is a municipality in the Community of Valencia, located in the region of Huerta South, only 8 km far from Valencia. It is a town where the main activities are fishing and rice production. The city center is rich in monuments, such as the Saint Miquel Church (1701), the Chiva bridge (1767) and the municipal market.
